The Problem
In the world of auto racing, precision is everything. Race teams need accurate weight and balance measurements to optimize performance on the track. Without the right tools, determining a car’s weight distribution and center of gravity can be time-consuming or incorrect, putting racers at a disadvantage. Longacre Racing Products needed a long-term partner to design and manufacture consistent and accurate weight and balance scales for race car teams, while continually evolving the design to keep up with newer models.
Our Solution
Over the course of nearly two decades, our team collaborated with Longacre Racing Products to design and produce thousands of race car scales across multiple models. These systems included a 4-point (or 4-wheel) weight-and-balance system, 3D center-of-gravity calculations, and Bluetooth-linked tire weigh pads. Our innovative designs provided tools to deliver accurate and accessible information, ensuring competitive performance on race days.
